About the Photographer
Randy Heidenreich is a San Diego based landscape and wildlife photographer, but enjoys many types of challenging subjects for his work to also include, urban settings, astrophotography, and light painting. His photography ranges from the shores of San Diego, the mountains of the Sierra Nevada's, Washington D.C., U.S. Civil War battlefields, Arizona, and Las Vegas to name a few.
His work has been used regionally by local news outlets in San Diego, has received national recognition among American wild horse advocates from across the country, and is a regularly accepted competitor at San Diego's Open International Photography Competition. Additionally, his work with big cats has been chosen by sanctuaries to represent their rescued animals.
