Description
This solitary pine tree in The Sierra Nevada mountain range initially survived a massive wild fire and stood faithfully as a testament to resilience. Less than two years later, the tree succumbed to the elements and lost it's battle for survival and fell. I am humbled to have been able to photograph it's struggle.
