Nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Bodie is an abandoned gold rush town that was booming with over 10,000 people at one point. The last 3 residents lived there until 1943 and the US Post Office closed it's office in 1942. Today, Bodie is preserved in a state of arrested decay. Only a small part of the town survived, with about 110 structures still standing,
