This perspective of the Vietnam Memorial is it's direct center. At the top center, you will see the year 1959, which is the year that the US first entered the conflict. The names cascade on both sides from this point.

I am a San Diego based landscape and wildlife photographer, born and raised in Stockton, Illinois ( the 'S' is - not - pronounced ). I am one of the many that came to San Diego for a visit and just kept delaying my plans to go home. Although my heart is still pulled to the rural and slower lifestyle of growing up in farm country, my life is in and around San Diego.
